The Schools’ Visual Environment Service

What do we do?

We enable schools to make full use of purposeful display, in order to enhance the pupils’ visual literacy by encouraging interaction with display materials.

Who is it for?

Training can be given to teachers, SLAs, pupils or parents at staff meetings or in-service days.

How and when can we access this?

This support can be provided through individual school in-service training or as part of the CPD provision. Enquiries can be made by contacting the Co-ordinator of the Arts Service, see details below.

Would you like to display the work of pupils at your school at other venues?

We are always pleased to display pupils’ work at Sheridan Road, the Council House and other building in the City. If you would like work displayed please contact the Co-ordinator of the Arts Service.
