This includes:
- Casework in General - introduction to the Integrated Children System (ICS) and protocol touching all social care procedures.
- Child in Need - referral and assessment of a child in need, kinship carers, special guardianship, the disabled child and support to the child living at home.
- Child Protection - multi-agency procedures concerning the protection of the child at risk of significant harm, and the Bristol Safeguarding Children's Board.
- Children Looked After - access to placement resources and substitute care provided for the child by the local authority through foster care, children's homes or residential special schools.
