For a few children, it is agreed at a child protection conference that the child is at continuing risk of significant harm.
In order to highlight the concerns for all the people involved with this child, his or her name will be placed on the Bristol child protection register.
A social worker employed by Children and Young People's Services will be appointed to co-ordinate an inter-agency plan to safeguard the child. This plan draws upon the contribution of family members, professionals in CPYS and other agencies.
