Bristol Safeguarding Children Board (BSCB) co-ordinates and leads work on Child Protection. BSCB is made up of organisations and people working together to promote children's welfare and keep them safe. It includes Bristol City Council's Children and Young People's Services, the police, the probation service and the health services.

These procedures provide advice on what should happen if somebody has concerns about the welfare of a child. They cover managing individual cases, from initial concern through to de-registration/resolution of multi-agency child protection plan.
