All full time students will have to pay their tuition fees of up to £3145, a non-means tested tuition fee loan will be available to all eligible students.
New eligible students will be entitled to claim a maintenance loan, see the chart below. You may also be eligible to receive a Teacher Training Bursary for shortage schemes. Information on this scheme can be found at the web address below.
Part-Time PGCE Courses
Part-time ITT courses over two years e.g. 24 months will attract part-time PGCE rates of funding (see chart below). However, flexible part-time ITT courses which are completed in less than 24 months will attract full time funding. If periods of attendance are less than 10 weeks, in any academic year, HEIs will only be able to charge up to £1,570 a year fees.
