Part-Time Funding
If you would prefer to study an undergraduate course on a part-time basis there is also financial help available for you. The course must last at least one academic year, and attendance must be equivalent to at least 50% of a full time Higher Education course. You may qualify for the following if your course lasts for no longer than twice the time it would take to complete the equivalent full time Higher Education course.
Am I Eligible?
The same residency rules apply as for full time courses.
Support is not available to students who already hold a First Degree from an educational institution in the UK.
Support is not available for Postgraduate part-time courses; however you may be eligible to receive a Disabled Students Allowance.
Your course must last at least one year.
All students are treated as independent.
Students who are studying in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland will be entitled to receive support towards fees and also a course grant.
Disabled Students allowances are also available for part-time courses.
