Local Authorities no longer have responsibility for processing applications for students who commence courses of Higher Education from September 2009.All students who start their courses from September 2009, will have their applications processed by Student Finance England.

We continue to administer Student Finance for students who started their course prior to 1 September 2009.We will continue to administer support for the academic year 2009/2010 and 2010/2011.If the course does not complete in 2011,the support will become the responsibility of Student Finance England.
