The government has recently issued a National Strategy document (see link Gifted and Talented Education Guidance to the left) on preventing underachievement: a focus on children and young people in care. This includes advice on effective teaching and learning strategies, enabling curriculum entitlement and choice, AFL, school organisation and strong partnerships beyond the school.
It would be of interest to anyone who works with a young person identified as gifted and talented.
