Children and Young People's Services offer a limited number of retainers to social work students who are in their final (or occasionally penultimate) year of a qualifying social work degree. The purpose of the scheme is to recruit qualifying Social Workers into our social care teams, primarily into the Duty Assessment and Locality teams.
The retainers are awarded in the autumn term and details of the scheme will be circulated to the universities in the autumn.
