Continuing Professional Development (CPD) underpins school improvement and the delivery of all our priorities. At the heart of Bristol's strategy for school improvement is the belief that it is teachers, headteachers and others working in schools, supported by governors, parents and the wider community, that improve schools and raise pupils' achievement.
Bristol LA offers a programme of CPD activities for schools including courses, conferences, networks and briefings. Some activities have been developed in collaboration with higher education and offer opportunities for accreditation.
The website allows you to find out about and book online training activities in our central CPD programme. Other areas of the website which tell you about wider CPD opportunities are currently under review and development.
