Information regarding transfer to secondary school in September 2011 is now available. You can now apply online (using the link on the right) or using a paper application form for a place for your child. Information will also be sent out through your child's primary school.

Applications should be submitted by 31 October 2010.

You will have to complete your home Local Authority's (The Council where you are liable for Council Tax) Common Application Form. You can use this form to apply for any State funded secondary school in England.

You are strongly advised to read 'Your Child's Secondary Education in Bristol ' guide (available by following the link on the left) before completing your application form.

If you are applying for a Voluntary Aided Church School, Academy or Trust School in Bristol, you may also need to complete a supplementary form, provided by the school. Your child may be required to complete a Non-Verbal reasoning Test where banding is used as part of the admission arrangements.
