Primary School Admissions – Reception Allocations 2010

Offers of places were posted via 2nd class post on 29 January 2010. An offer of a school place has been made for every child for whom an application was received by the published closing date of 23rd October 2009.

We have been able to offer 92% of parents at least one of their preferred schools.

All offers have been made in accordance with the priority order contained in the published admission arrangements. To see how places were allocated at those schools which were oversubscribed please click on the relevant link on the left.

Where it has not been possible to offer a place at a preferred school a place has been offered at an alternative school where a place is available.

We will not be able to give you your child's place on the waiting lists for each school before 22 March, when responses to offers have been received and processed.

The majority of classes for Reception age children in Bristol have statutory limits on the numbers of children in each class. For more information on 'Infant class allocations' please follow the link.
