The first offers for places in Reception in September 2009 were sent to parents on 30 January 2009. For details of how the next round of offers will be made please click on the link Reception Offers (2nd round) on the left.

Parents who have not received an offer of a school place were invited to a meeting on Monday, 16 March 2009. Click on the link Reception 2009 - Parents' meeting to the left to see notes of this meeting.

If your child was born between 1 September 2004 and 31 August 2005, they may start school in September 2009.

The closing date for receipt of applications for first admission to infant or Primary School for September 2009 was 5pm on 24 October 2008. The online application system has now closed.

You can still apply using a paper form which can be downloaded by using the appropriate link on the left. This will be regarded as a late application but will be considered in line with the published arrangements.

We strongly recommend that you read ' Your child's primary education in Bristol ' booklet which can be opened or downloaded by using the link on the left, before completing your application form.

If you are applying for a voluntary aided Catholic primary school in Bristol , you may need to complete a supplementary form, available from the school, to enable the governors to apply their admissions criteria. The Bristol application form must also be completed for you to be considered for a place. If you are applying for a place at Easton CE VA School or St Matthias & Dr Bells CE VA Primary School on the basis of church affiliation, the school may require some further information. Details can be found in the booklet or by contacting the school.
