Performance, policy and planning
Improving outcomes for Bristol children, young people and families is the key driver for all our work. In order to do this, we must prioritise and focus on key issues. The Bristol Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP) (see link to the left) is the overarching strategic plan to improve outcomes for children, young people and families and it contains 6 strategic objectives on attainment, safeguarding, health, corporate parenting, economic wellbeing and improving the positive contribution of children, young people and families.
Strategies are in place that set out how objectives in the CYPP will be delivered.
We monitor our success in delivering these plans and strategies through regular analysis and reporting. Details can be found by following the link Performance Management - CYPS to the left.
