If your child has Statement of Special Education Needs, Children and Young People’s Services has to ensure the needs are being met by reviewing the situation annually, as they would be in school.
If your child attends a special school, permission to home educate must be obtained from Children and Young People’s Services before the child is withdrawn from school.
