Bursaries to raise qualification levels of practitioners working in, or wishing to work in, Bristol Settings
If you are a practitioner working in a Bristol Early Years, Childcare, Playwork or Childminding setting, or if you would like to join the sector and wish to gain the relevant qualifications, funding may be available to help pay for your course fees. Please download the application form and send it to the address at the bottom of the form. There is no deadline for receipt of applications but please apply as soon as possible before the start date of the course you wish to do.
Please note that completion of these application forms does not enrol you on the course . Please apply direct to the Training Provider for a place. This will enable you to complete all the necessary sections of the form.
Working with Children Training Fund Application Form
You are eligible to receive help with your course fees if:
- You are employed, or a volunteer, in the Private, Voluntary or Independent Early Years sector in Bristol ;
- You are a Childminder in Bristol ;
- You are a Playworker, or a volunteer, in a Bristol Out of School Club;
- You are employed, or a volunteer, in a Children's Centre, a Nursery School or in the Nursery or Reception Class of a school in Bristol .
You may also be eligible for funding:
- If you live in Bristol and are wishing to join the sector and need the relevant qualification;
- If you work with children in a related field and want to gain a qualification with a view to working in an Early Years or Out of School setting.
