The Family Information Services (CYPIS) provides free impartial information and guidance on a full range of childcare and children's services and resources across the City of Bristol. The service is available to :
- Parents and carers of children
- Providers of childcare services
- People wishing to set up new childcare provision
- People wishing to become registered childminders
- Employers and training providers
We offer parents and carers :
- An assessment of their specific and individual childcare needs
- Information on all types of childcare both registered and non-registered groups
- Lists of registered childminders in their chosen area with current vacancy information and the service provided
- Briefing Sheets providing guidance on what to consider when choosing childcare
- A signposting service to local support organisations and agencies
