Bath and North East Somerset Early Years and Extended Services Team is committed to improving the quality of services across the sector and as part of this the Early Years Foundation Stage Team promotes the Bristol Standard to all early years settings in the authority.
There are now a range of settings undertaking the scheme in Bath and North East Somerset across the private, voluntary, independent and maintained sectors.
Bath and North East Somerset maintains close links with Bristol and other Local Authorities involved with the Bristol Standard to ensure standards of process and procedure are consistent and equitable. As a member of the family group we are currently reviewing the materials and support in light of the Quality Improvement Principles.
